Practice Principal at Rosny Park Family Practice, Dr Columbine Mullins, graduated from a Bachelor Of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University of Tasmania in 1990, and a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc) from University of Tasmania in 2004. In 2011 she became a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Passionate about preventative health care and chronic disease management and lifestyle, Dr Mullins thrives on the diversity and complexity that comes with being a GP. She also loves her relationships with patients and their families, many of whom appreciate her ability to guide them to make small changes impacting their overall health.
“There’s so much people can control and do in their everyday lives through diet and exercise – they’ll feel better for it and it prevents disease too. I like that GPs can help patients can get on top of health issues before they become a real problem.”
Dr Mullins has also completed her training for Hepatitis C treatment.
Dr Ritesh Gupta completed his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2001 and obtained a Masters degree in ENT (Ear Nose Throat) in 2007 from the University of Delhi, India.
Since moving to Australia in 2008, Dr Gupta has worked extensively in the Australian health care system in both Tasmania and Victoria.
He has successfully completed the fellowship training program with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and been awarded FRACGP in 2019.
He is a calm, compassionate and caring doctor who brings his wealth of experience at the Rosny Park Family Practice.
He enjoys all aspects of General Practice and is particularly passionate about helping patients with ENT problems. He has also developed an interest in vertigo management and completed an evidence-based clinical competency course in dizziness disorders in Queensland.
Dr Gupta has got a special interest in skin cancer management as well. He recently completed a course on International Certificate of Dermatoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine in Melbourne.
He is well liked by his peers and patients, who find him to be thorough and professional. He continues to progress on the professional development to keep him updated.
When Dr Gupta is not with patients, he loves to spend quality time with his family.
General Practitioner Dr Verity Robin holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of NSW and a Graduate Diploma of Paediatrics from the University of NSW (2011).
Before moving to Hobart and transitioning into General Practice she worked at Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, as well as completing additional training in Paediatrics, which included a stint working at the Sydney Children’s Hospital.
A dedicated General Practitioner, Dr Robin enjoys the opportunity for “whole-of-patient care” that being a GP provides. “My work allows me to learn how each individual patient is connected to community, family and the meaningful pursuits they may engage in. I feel privileged to accompany patients on their journeys to happier healthier lives,” she says.
Dr Robin particularly enjoys working with young people, families and other individuals in periods of transition. In addition to seeing patients at Rosny Park Family Practice she works part-time as a GP within the Headspace Hobart team and provides out-of-hours and emergency care through her work in the Royal Hobart Hospital Emergency Department and on the After Hours Doctor/Health Direct rosters.
Dr Robin speaks French and German and is always interested in connecting with patients from other cultures.
Dr Robin also has 2 active children with whom she loves spending time, especially in Tasmania’s extraordinary outdoors.
